Grem’talor, adventurers!

Here’s a new update that’s sure to delight those of you who love combat! It’s also another opportunity for me to fine-tune Farental and improve the overall gaming experience. Let’s take a look at what’s new.

Combats

Combat is at the heart of this Farental update. The big new feature is the ability to automatically chain battles together thanks to a system that restores your health and regenerates your mana using your selected potions.

The experience gained during combat has also been revised. Weapons are now tied to a class (mage, hunter, or warrior) and a stat used to calculate their damage. For example, bows (as well as the hunter’s skills) now rely on agility to calculate damage.

Abilities have undergone numerous changes. Hunters can now apply a disorientation effect with the poisoned arrow. Disorientation is a new crowd-control effect that causes characters to target the wrong enemy or miss their attacks.

Combat reports have been redesigned to be more accurate, detailed, and easier to explore. You won’t miss a single detail!

The script editor has also been significantly improved, with the addition of numerous new rules to help you fine-tune your scripts.

Other new features

1. You can now click on a task’s remaining time to see its end time
2. Improved mail management
3. Added shortcuts to consumables and scripts during combat
4. Added tabs for categories in the inventory
5. Revised equipment stats and rebalanced numerous abilities

Important Bug Fixes

1. Fixed Laceration not requiring a melee weapon
2. Disabled double-click zooming on mobile
3. Fixed an issue where claiming task rewards required two clicks
4. Fixed inconsistent dialog box heights during searches

API News

1. Inventory : added the route GET /inventory/consumables to get only consumables from the inventory of the character
2. Auto-Battle : GET and POST on /fight/autoBattleConfig to get or set the auto-battle configuration
3. Fight logs : GET /fight/structuredLog?fightID=... allows to get a specific fight its structured log
4. Mails : POST /mail/delete allows to delete mails from your inbox or sent mails
